The bench called Maissi is inspired by the handrails of old monumental stairs in houses and industrial machines from the 1930s.

The bench is a design by Studio Kaksikko from Finland.

American designer Wesley Walters and Finnish designer Salla Luhtasela, also known as Studio Kaksikko, are a design duo that combines Scandinavian, American and Asian inspiration and traditions to create new furniture and products.
