About the designer:
Verner Panton (1926-1998) is known as an inspiring and colorful personality. A unique person with a special sense of color, shape, light function and space. Over the course of his career, Panton introduced a series of modern lamps that were very different from anything made by his Scandinavian contemporaries. With his strong belief in the unlimited possibilities of design, he came up with new theories about the function and influence of light.
