Partly due to its strong visual style, timeless shapes and elegant proportions, the Fab Vase by Finnish designer Anne Hirvonen was the winning entry for the Northern Design Award.
By combining traditional glass blowing techniques with innovative new ideas, each vase is truly unique thanks to the natural patterns that can be seen in the glass. This is because the glass is blown into the mold with the mouth.
The vase is available in two colors, one transparent and the other yellow, which makes it even more striking.
Each Fab Vase also comes with a round metal insert. This removable stainless steel disk allows up to 42 individual flower stems to be fully supported when placed inside, adding even more drama and definition to the flower arrangement, all at your discretion.

About the designer:
A postgraduate of Aalto University and our Northern Design Award winner for 2022, Finnish designer Anne Hirvonen loves to explore a wide variety of materials and challenge the processes of working with them.
Taking inspiration from her everyday life, whether it’s in the city or the wilderness, with every project she undertakes Anne strives to constantly develop her skills even further. Over the past couple of years Anne has begun to explore working with glass, which in her own opinion is the most challenging material she has worked with so far, but why she was attracted to it in the first place.
