This distorted, spherical melt design hanging lamp is made of opal acrylate.
Designed by Tom Dixon. The now iconic Tom Dixon melt lamp is now available in a beautiful opalescent version to enhance brightness. The shade emits a natural glow in daylight and forms an enchanting illuminated sphere at night. Fits perfectly into any interior with its opalescent hue, reminiscent of naturally formed pearls.
Also available in a smaller size Melt Opal Mini hanging lamp with a diameter of 30 cm.
The LED light source offers three key benefits: longer lifespan, energy efficiency and improved performance, including dimmability and light control. Replacement components and individual drivers are available for the integrated LED module if necessary.

The Melt hanging lamp is a design in collaboration between the British designer Tom Dixon and the Swedish design studio Collective Front.
The light point is stylishly incorporated at the top of the sphere. This variant is durable, has a long lifespan and the light source can be replaced via Tom Dixon if necessary. Depending on the effect you want to achieve, you can choose whether or not to use the hood around the light point. You can see the difference in the variants.
