The Well Tempered Chair, designed by Ron Arad from 1986, is a design with contradictions. The Well Tempered Chair has the inviting shape of an armchair, which makes you want to sit in the chair, but at the same time this chair deters you due to the use of the metal plating.

A perfect full-size replica of the Well Tempered Chair, albeit in 1:6 scale, the Vitra Miniature is an officially licensed product of the Vitra Design Museum.
