The Norppa rocking toy chair from the Finnish Vaarnii takes its name from the shape as well as from the endangered seal population, the ringed seal.

The striking wood grain gives the rocking chair a lively silhouette and cute appearance. The pattern on the surface of each chair is of course different, as is each individual pine tree.

Thanks to the material, Norppa will age gracefully and uniquely: when the natural oils of the wood react to UV rays, the swing toy changes its color to a beautiful honey yellow. Pine is also a soft wood, so scratches and dents on the surface will only enhance Norppa's character over time and become beautiful memories in the long run.
