The lightweight aluminium construction has a convenient flat-pack design and uses the minimum number of components needed to create a complete storage system, resulting in a timeless and simple structure that offers storage and display space for a wide range of items.

The Hay Pier System Wardrobe Shelf with Hanger is a versatile shelf that is part of the modular Pier System. Featuring an integrated rod, the shelf offers a combined solution for storing and hanging clothes, making it suitable for spaces such as a hallway or cloakroom.

There are a range of Pier Systems available, ranging from living room and bedroom styles to cloakroom/hallways and offices.

Materials & Finishes:

Lightweight aluminium and steel shelving with aluminium connectors. Cabinets in bent sheet steel. Extruded clear or black anodised aluminium profiles with a satin finish. Plastic end cap and adjustable glide.

The wardrobe system is delivered flat packed.

About the designers:

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, the Breton brothers, are the rising stars of European design and the most promising industrial designers to emerge from France since Philippe Starck in the 1980s.

A combination of romance and functionality runs through the work of both brothers. Like all truly talented designers, the Bouroullecs have defined a distinctive visual style, which Jasper Morrison (one of the designers they most admire) described as 'thoughtful and disciplined, with a real spirit and poetry'.

The brothers also have an extraordinary ability to reinvent traditional types of furniture or products by recreating them in a way that is particularly suited to their generation.
