A new version of the Panthella 160 portable lamp, an iconic mood lamp by Verner Panton from 1971.

The Panthella 160 v3 Portable lamp, with a diameter of only 160 mm, is the smallest scale version of Verner Panton's popular Panthella table lamp from 1971.
Updates in technology and sourcing have enabled Louis Poulsen to introduce this new version of the Panthella 160 Portable, with improved functionality and an attractive price point.

The new features include touch dim on/off on the top bolt and a stronger battery life, which can deliver 8.5 hours at 100% brightness.
And the colour palette has now been expanded to 13 variations.

The new Panthella portable lamp has a height of 16 cm. and is flexible to use because it does not require a power point, for example in your home, terrace, patio or garden.

This lamp is equipped with a USB-C cable and has three dimming options.

This portable lamp radiates a glare-free, soft, comfortable light. The acrylic screen provides diffused mood light around the entire lamp. This beautiful and timeless lamp is available in many color variations of acrylic and metal versions. This Danish design classic is very versatile and suitable for all kinds of purposes.

The designer:

Verner Panton (1926-1998) is known as an inspiring and colorful personality. A unique person with a special sense of color, shape, light function and space. During his career, Panton introduced a series of modern lamps that were very different from anything his Scandinavian contemporaries made. With his strong belief in the unlimited possibilities of design, he came up with new theories about the function and influence of light.
