The Beat Tall pendant lamp from the Beat collection by English designer Tom Dixon provides cozy light above your kitchen counter or table.

The Beat Tall Pendant Lamp is a design by Tom Dixon and belongs to the Beat lamp family. Dixon was inspired by traditional Indian water vessels and bronze pots and pans. Because each lamp is hand-spun, each shape is unique. And the specific hammering technique (hammering) ensures the beautifully scaled finish of the inside. In addition, a lacquer protects the inside and outside of the pendant lamp against oxidation.

The unbeaten, is the new version of the hugely popular beat family, now with hand-spun and hand-brushed aluminum, as an ode to the raw state of aluminum in its naked form.

The LED module offers three important advantages: longer life, energy efficiency and improved performance, including dimmability and light control. Fully serviceable: replacement components and individual drivers are available if required.

About the designer:

Tom Dixon rose to prominence in the mid-80s as a maverick, unskilled designer with a line of welded salvage furniture. While working at Italian giant Cappellini, he designed the acclaimed 'S' chair.

In the late 90s, Tom became creative director at Habitat, responsible for rejuvenating the brand and maintaining Terence Conran's vision of enriching everyday life through simple, modern design.

Since launching his own eponymous design company in 2002, Tom’s work has become even more prominent, developing many iconic designs and interiors.
