Yo Lamp is crafted with a unique rotational molding process using the highly durable and weather-resistant materials PE and ABS. This enables the lamp to be used both indoors and outdoors. It is suitable as both a floor lamp and a table lamp. An elegant, simplistic silhouette, the smooth union of the lampshade and base means that the entire lamp emits a charismatic, illuminating glow. Yo Lamp is battery-powered and offers three light intensity levels of 100%, 40% and 10%. Yo Lamp comes in two sizes, small or large and operates for up to 80 or 100 hours, depending on size.

Light source: 
Yo Lamp large version comes with a permanently integrated, rechargeable, low-energy LED light source which has 3 light intensity levels: 100%, 40% and 10% and a battery life of 7 hours, 16 hours and 80 hours, respectively. The lamp comes with a Type C magnetic charging head and USB magnetic charging cable with a length of 1 meter. LED Lifetime: 25000 h.

Maintenance: Clean with damp cloth. Avoid use of all-purpose cleaners and other degreasing detergents.

About the designer:

Simon Legald studies design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and will graduate in the summer of 2012. His work consists of both small and large-scale products.

“Honesty is what makes a product understandable, and is what describes the functionality of the products. If you understand the product, it needs no explanation. The essence of my design is that it is bought and used. Therefore, it must satisfy not only the functional aspects, but also the psychological and aesthetic needs. For me, simplicity describes the true identity of objects and makes them reliable. In my designs I try not to add unnecessary details. I work with simplicity by emphasizing the necessities instead of hiding them. It gives the product a simple and honest look.”
