The Tip Ton chair by Vitra catches the eye with its special basic structure that allows the chair to be tilted forward a few degrees. According to research at the ETH Zurich University in Switzerland, a slightly forward-looking sitting position activates the back and abdominal muscles and thus helps the body to get more oxygen.
The chair is a design by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, and it is made of durable and recyclable plastic and the chair has no loose mechanical parts.
In short, the Tip Ton brings an interesting combination of function and form to your office, kitchen or elsewhere in the house or outdoors.

About the designers:
Edward Barber (b. 1969) and Jay Osgerby (b. 1969) are British designers and founders of the London studio Barber & Osgerby, founded in 1996. Barber and Osgerby studied architecture and interior design at London's Royal College of Art and have since have collaborated in the fields of industrial design, furniture design and architecture.
Their clean, streamlined designs are often inspired by the folding and shaping of sheet materials, and a fine example of their innovative style is the Tip Ton chair, published by Vitra.
