The Beat Tall hanging lamp from the Beat collection by the English designer Tom Dixon provides cozy light above your kitchen counter or table.

A series of lights inspired by the sculptural simplicity of brass cooking pots and traditional water vessels on the subcontinent. The Beat lights are spun and hand-beaten by renowned skilled craftsmen of Moradabad in Northern India.

Tom Dixon's Beat family of lights is inspired by the sculptural forms of the traditional brass cooking and water pots that are found throughout India. The collection is available in a range of dramatically formed pendant lights as well as floor, table and wall lighting.

The brass shade of each light is hand-beaten by skilled craftsmen in Moradabad, Northern India, ensuring each is unique. A protective lacquer is applied to the interior surface to preserve its characteristic finish, while a patinated or powder-coated finish is applied to the exterior of the shade to create a coloured finish.

Beat Wide is available in a black patinated, glossy white or brushed brass finish to the exterior of the shade with a beaten brass interior, or with a grey exterior and a silver-plated beaten brass interior.

Brass, black and grey shades have black 2.5m fabric cable; white shade has white 2.5m fabric cable. 

Brass, black and grey shades have black powder-coated metal ceiling rose; white shade has white powder-coated metal ceiling rose.
