The source of inspiration for this beautiful dining room chair is the beetle! Just like the beetle, the Beetle chair has a tight line that is combined with thin legs, giving it a minimalist appearance. In addition, the exterior of the Beetle chair, as well as the armor of the beetle, is super sturdy so that the beetle chair will last for years to be enjoyed.

When purchasing the Beetle chair with oak base from Gubi you can choose from different beautiful colors. The base is made of wood, the seat / shell of recycled polypropylene.

Dimensions: The chair is 87 centimeters high, 56 centimeters wide and 58 centimeters deep. The seat height is 43.5 centimeters.

The chair is supplied with standard plastic gliders.

In a major step towards more responsible production, GUBI has redeveloped GamFratesi’s beloved designs using a recycled-plastic composite. Utilizing advanced technology and customized material blends comprising over 50% recycled plastic, GUBI has been able to make production significantly more responsible, while retaining the same quality and performance as virgin plastic. Every variant of both Beetle and Bat will now be available in the new material – a leap forward in GUBI’s journey towards phasing out virgin plastic.

The resulting chairs look as good and perform as well as they always have, while halving the virgin materials required, leading to a significant reduction in GUBI’s environmental impact. At the end of the chairs’ lives, the Beetle and Bat’s constituent plastic can be recycled endlessly, closing the loop on the circular economy.
