The chair's half-time chair owes its name to the Adidas building with the same name, which was designed by COBE - a large architectural firm from Denmark. Unlike most designs, this chair was commissioned by the end users, namely the employees who would move into the Halftime building. They needed a super sturdy, robust chair that also had some flexibility.
HAY and COBE worked together on the perfect chair for this situation and created a strong chair that can last for generations and can be used in many environments. This chair is highly recommended for public places such as libraries, cafés, etc.
The stackable chair has a metal frame, chrome-plated or with a black powder coating, with a curved oak veneer seat finished with a transparent matte lacquer or black-stained.
