The (desk chair) About A Chair AAC24 by Hay combines a swivel castor base with a streamlined seat. This design was created through close collaboration between designer Hee Welling and HAY, and has become a collection of exceptional simplicity and combinability.

With the About A Chair collection, Welling wanted to reach a new level in the combination of form, function, comfort, detail and aesthetics. The idea behind the collection was to develop a chair that works well around the dining table, around a conference table, but also in a restaurant, cafeteria or office.

Due to the simplicity of the AAC collection, the chairs can be combined with many types of furniture and interiors.

About the designer:

Hee Welling is a Danish designer who graduated in 2003 from the Danish Design School in Copenhagen, specializing in product and furniture design. Hee Welling's designs are deeply rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition, which is evident in his simple, functional and sophisticated designs. Form and function are the two important guidelines in his works.
