The Woody shelves storage cabinet from the Danish company Hay is a modern interpretation of a traditional dockside position. Woody is made in the spirit of modernism: nothing in the construction is hidden and all connections and screws are clearly visible. The simplistic design gives Woody its characteristic, refined appearance that leaves room for the items that are placed on the shelves.

The combination of a wooden frame and curved steel planks or glass shelves makes the Woody optical light but it is structurally strong and stable. The shelves lie freely on the wooden frame and can be easily removed if necessary. Without visible front and back, Woody works just as well as a freestanding partition / room divider or placed flat against the wall.
