The Cache table from Danish Character is a minimalist table with elegantly slim steel legs and an oak table top finished with a clear lacquer.

The table is a design by the legendary American designer Paul MCobb from 1952 and consists of a slim metal frame and an oak table top.

This is part of Paul McCobb's extensive Planner series.

About the designer:

Paul McCobb (1917–1969) is one of the most important American designers of the 1950s and 1960s, best known for his sleek and functional furniture designs. Perhaps McCobb's most famous and successful design is the Planner series which, together with McCobb's other influential furniture designs, is characterized by a simplicity of form, accentuated by thin lines and light yet sturdy structures. The distinctly modern designs were functional and accessible, ultimately making Planner one of the most popular furniture lines of the 1950s.
