Karakter's Office desk, a design by Bodil Kjær from 1959, is a Danish design classic characterized by its minimalist structure: a simple table top with four hidden drawers that rests on a striking metal frame.

The Office Desk, also called the most beautiful desk in the world, is also called 'the James Bond desk', as it can be seen in 3 different James Bond films.

About the designer:

Bodil Kjær (b. 1932) is a Danish architect, designer and professor who has worked mainly in interior design and urban planning. Some of her best-known works include a collection of flexible office furniture and architectural lamps that she designed in the 1950s and 1960s.
