Audo Copenhagen Kettle teapot.

The Kettle teapot, designed by Norm Architects for Audo Copenhagen, combines the old tradition of drinking tea with a modern Scandinavian touch. Because the teapot is made of smooth transparent glass, it stimulates sight and taste. Make tea by adding boiling water to the Kettle teapot or by heating water with the Kettle teapot heater (sold separately). The tea filter, placed in the center of the pot, is easy to lift by pulling the silicone cord once the tea is thoroughly steeped and ready to be served.

About the designers:

Norm Architects is a dynamic design duo put together by Danish architects Kasper Rønn (b. 1976) and Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen (b. 1976), both graduates of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. As true modernists, they believe in design that focuses on meeting a real need rather than creating one, and this is reflected in their work as architects and industrial designers.
