For this key ring series, the Dutch designer Hella Jongerius was inspired by the iconic images from recent and past Vitra history, namely the 'Eames Elephant' and the Vitra house.
For Charles and Ray Eames, 'the Elephant' is an iconic motif that was already used for decorative play objects in the 1940s, but it was relaunched by Vitra a few years ago. In 2010, the iconic Vitra House opened its doors on the Vitra campus in Switzerland and is now used as a template for the key ring.
The key ring is made of leather leftovers for production Vitra furniture..
