The slide table mirror, consists of a round mirror with a wooden base, both standing on a concrete tray that offers enough storage space for your hairpins, jewelry or make-up pads
The name Slide refers to the design of the table mirror, as the wooden part can be moved along the concrete to hide or show what is stored inside.
The Slide mirror is a design by Karin Nakamura, which came about as a result of a collaboration between Fritz Hansen and Central St. Martins College of Art in London, when Christian Andresen, Fritz Hansen's Head of Design, acted as Nakamura's mentor.
Referring to Fritz Hansen's design philosophy and material knowledge, Slide's streamlined shape is designed to emphasize the beauty and texture of each material: smoked glass, ash wood and a hand-cast concrete holder.
