Flexible working environments have determined the change in our offices in recent years. Work no longer takes place at your own desk, but in different places - depending on whether you are looking for a productive exchange with colleagues or for peace and concentration. It's practical to always have the personal work supplies you need with you.
For this purpose, Konstantin Grcic and Vitra have developed the Locker Box, a portable box in which everything necessary for work - laptop, keyboard, papers, writing utensils, cables, hard drives, headphones, etc. - can be stored.
The construction of the Locker Box is simple and robust. Two side walls made of recycled plastic are connected by aluminum tubes. The top tube is the handle. On the other five hangs a construction of welded pieces of fabric, which form the compartments.
The Locker Box is available in 4 colors : basic dark, dark grey, brick red and sea blue.
Dimensions: small H33 W36.5 x D18 and large H33 x W46.5 x D18 cm. Material: side panels made of recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable. Aluminum tubes, fabric 100% polyester.

« The thing I enjoy most, since I was a kid, is making things. I still love my job because I create 3D objects in my studio. I became what I wanted to be when I was a kid, although I didn't know the word "design". » explains Grcic.
After studying cabinet making at the John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood (Parnham College) in England, Konstantin Grcic studied design at the Royal College of Art in London from 1988 to 1990.
