Louis Poulsen presents for 2024 the Limited Edition of the famous PH 2/1 table lamp by the renowned Danish designer Poul Henningsen.

A design by Poul Henningsens reflective three-shade system that he created to use glare-free lighting in the home.

This table lamp provides a soft, harmonious downward light while emitting a beautiful glow.

Perfect for home use as a table or desk lamp, the PH 2/1 Limited Edition is now available in a classic beautiful aged brass finish with a matching terracotta-coloured glass.

Cord length: 2.8m with a switch button

Materials & finishes:
Mouth-blown terracotta four-layer glass, glossy on the outside, sandblasted on the inside. Top plate, base and stem in aged brass, brushed with fine hairlines and treated with lacquer.

Please note: the treated aged brass will not change over time.

Bulb (not included) 1 x 2W G9 LED bulb IP20 rating.

About the designer:

Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a famous Danish designer who studied at the Technical School in Frederiksberg, Denmark from 1911 to 1914 and then at the Technical College in Copenhagen from 1914 to 1917.

He started out practicing traditional functionalist architecture, but then shifted his interests to mainly lighting, which is what he eventually became very famous for.
