The PH Artichoke pendant lamp by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen is one of the great landmarks of lighting design and is now available in a special 150th Anniversary Edition.
With a cleverly hidden light source that radiates light outward through no fewer than 72 individual leaves, the Artichoke is an international design icon. The lamp was first introduced in 1958 and has since become an iconic lamp from the collection.
Originally produced with the Langelinie Pavilion in Copenhagen in mind, the Louis Poulsen PH Artichoke pendant lamp was designed to look sculptural even when not on, enhancing the building's impressive modernist aesthetic.
This very special edition of the chandelier was produced on the occasion of Louis Poulsen's 150th anniversary and has a light pink, so-called wet-painted interior and a brass metal frame.
The lamp is available in two sizes.

He began to practice traditional functionalist architecture, but in the years when his professional interests changed, he focused mainly on lighting, for which he became famous.
