The Pieni Unikko cushion cover from the Finnish Marimekko features the iconic flower pattern by Maija Isola in beautiful shades.

The cover is made of 100% cotton, which gives the cushion cover an organic touch to the sofa, armchair or your bed.

The Unikko pattern was created in 1964 after Armi Ratia, the founder of Marimekko, publicly announced that Marimekko would not design floral fabrics. Maija Isola did not accept any rules or restrictions and, in protest, designed a complete collection of striking flower patterns: Unikko, a Finnish word meaning poppy.

Today, Unikko is one of Marimekko's most famous patterns.
