This set of two cushion covers from Marimekko features the iconic Pieni Unikko pattern by designer Maija Isola, this time in soft, refined shades.

The charming floral print in pink, light orange, white and gold is printed on cotton satin, with the golden pigment providing a subtle, festive sheen. A stylish addition to your interior – from sofa to bedroom.

The Unikko pattern was born in 1964 as an act of creative rebellion. When Marimekko founder Armi Ratia publicly stated that the brand would not produce floral prints, Maija Isola decided to prove her wrong. She designed a complete collection of striking flowers, of which Unikko – Finnish for “poppy” – quickly became Ratia’s favourite.

It has since become one of Marimekko's best-known and most beloved patterns.
