The designer Matégot himself discovered rigid, or thin, perforated metal and wanted to use it in designs. After he had a patent on it, he set up his own production line so that he could use the material in his own designs. Because of the many holes, the metal became flexible like dust, which was unique at the time.
As a result, the material enabled Matégot to turn an everyday eye such as a flowerpot into an artistic eye-catcher. The metal of the flowerpot is therefore "crinkled", which makes it look elegant and graceful.
The flowerpot is available in Venetian Gold with a diameter of 15.5 and 21 centimeters. In addition to these sizes, Midnight Black is also available with a diameter of 27.5 centimeters. The smallest format has a height of 12 centimeters and the subsequent format is 17 centimeters high. The largest black variant has a height of 24 centimeters.
