The Atlas stool from New Works takes both its name and design from ancient Greece. The stool, designed by John Astbury, is inspired by Greek architecture, and the name comes from the titan called Atlas.
And indeed, if you look closely at the construction, it seems that the legs of the stool are held up, just like the shoulders of the Titan.
The sturdy legs and thin top together provide a striking contrast that will certainly charm in your living room.
The Atlas stool is made of solid oak, with a natural wood grain that creates a charming lively pattern on the top, giving each stool a unique look.
