The Occasional Low Tables by Vitra are a design by Jasper Morrison.

The table tops of the Occasional Low side table 35 by Vitra are available in 4 different versions. aluminium with a chocolate brown coating, solid oiled natural oak, solid oiled smoked oak or solid oiled American walnut.
The aluminum version has a handle in the raised edge of the blade. The base is made of die-cast zinc with a chocolate brown coating. The table top has a diameter of 50 centimeters, the foot has a diameter of 34 centimeters and the height of this table is 35 centimeters.

About the designer:
Jasper Morrison is one of the most influential British industrial designers today. Born in London in 1959, Morrison is known today for his aesthetically elegant, quietly humorous style and he has designed a wide range of products from a tray to a tram system.
After studying at Kingston Polytechnic and the Royal College of Art, Morrison opened his Office for Design in London in 1986, just a year after graduating from RCA.
Jasper Morrison's most iconic designs include the Glo-Ball lighting collection for Flos and the Air-Chair family for Italian furniture brand Magis among others.
