The Orient P2 pendant lamp is a contemporary take on Jo Hammerborg's well-known classic from 1963

The shade has been given a subdued matte aluminum finish that emphasizes both the organic silhouette and the dark grain of the oak top.

Originally manufactured by the Danish company Fog & Mørup, the Orient creates a pleasant, glare-free light that also lets light through the elegant narrow openings at the top. The timeless lamp catches the eye in your home in whichever room you hang it.

About the designer:

Jo Hammerborg (1920-1982) was a Danish designer who worked as chief designer for Fog & Morup. Thanks to his hard work, Hammerborg left the company in history as one of the vanguards of their time. Many of the lamps Hammerborg designed for Fog & Morup have received various awards and recognitions.
