The modern Patera 450 pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen has a soothing matte white surface and a sense of delicate, mathematical beauty.
The designer Øivind Slaatto was inspired by the Fibonacci series that occurs in nature as spiral patterns: the lamp consists of diamond-shaped cells arranged in a shape similar to the seed patterns of sunflowers and pinecones. When the lamp is on, the boxes glow in a fascinating way and also prevent glare.
The intricate structure and lively surface make Patera a modern chandelier that is perfect for high spaces, available in two dimensions.
