The beautiful and elegant lounge chair PK22 is the work of Poul Kjærholm in his search for the ideal letter shape and industrial dimension, which was always present in his work.
The chair has a sturdy steel frame and there is a choice of high-quality fabric, leather or natural wicker upholstery. Thanks to the well thought-out shape of the seat, the chair ensures a healthy and relaxed sitting position.
The chair is timeless and elegantly designed, which means that it "stands the test of time" as the chair was designed in 1956. The chair will certainly take your living room to the next level!
The profile of the steel frame construction comes from Poul's graduation project, which was the 'Element' Chair (PK25), from the School of Applied Arts in Copenhagen. In the updated design of the PK22 from 1956, the structure was divided into separate elements for design improvements and for better production.
The PK22 was an instant commercial success. In 1957, the chair was awarded the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale, the most important design fair in the world.
Dimensions: Depth - 63 cm, Width - 63 cm, Height - 71 cm, the seat height is 35 cm.
