Stig Lindberg x Layered is a collection full of nostalgia, playfulness and an important piece of design history for under your feet.
The collection is the result of a shared love for bold patterns and clean lines. The Gunnel pattern pays homage to the woven rug that Stig's wife Gunnel designed but never put into production. The flat weave generates a textured base line of the rug, accompanied by a tufted shaggy detail in the shaping of hand-spun yarn.
The distinction between high and low pile creates a dynamic finish that is characteristic of Stig's designs.
Production: handwoven. Each rug is unique and may vary slightly in size and colour.
