The modern and elegant unix conference chair is a design by Antonio Citterio for the Swiss Vitra.

The Milanese designer Citterio started his collaboration with Vitra in 1988 and likes his designs to be a touch of refinement and an appealing design for many people. His goal with this chair was to create the ultimate office chair.

The functional design of the Unix Conference Chair makes it a great choice for your home office. It is made of aluminum and plastic, with a softly padded seat and a mesh cover, making for a sturdy, scratch-resistant chair for your desk.

The seat height is 41 cm and the total height is 75.5 cm. The armrests are perfectly placed at 24 cm above the seat. The ergonomic design ensures that no matter how long you spend at your desk, your back and neck are supported at all times.

About the designer:

The Italian designer Antonio Citterio (1950) is a household name in the design world. He developed architecture in Milan and from 1972 he slowly but surely gained fame with designs for composite design brands such as Flexform, FLOS, Kartell and Vitra. He has been working successfully with the latter well-known design brand for at least 25 years. You can always recognize the Italian design aesthetic in Citterio's progressive work. It is always minimalistic, functional and a little playful.
