The Uten.Silo II storage container from Vitra is available in white, black, Japanese red, Ivy green and Horizon blue. The storage organizer is also available in a larger size:Uten.Silo I. The Silo is an original design by Dorothee Becker in 1969.

Material: post-industrial recycled ABS plastic, 100% recyclable. Hooks are made of nickel-plated metal.

About the designer:

Dorothee Becker (1938–2023) is best known for her 1969 design of the Uten.Silo storage organizer, now produced by Vitra. Before her career as a designer, German-born Becker studied languages ​​and lived in cities such as London and Paris, eventually moving to California in 1960. Upon returning to Germany with her husband, lighting designer Ingo Maurer, she opened a design shop in Munich, which she ran until 1989. Although Becker was a completely self-taught designer, she had a significant impact on the design world—Uten.Silo is a recognized design classic and is part of the collection of the MoMA in New York.
