The Paikka room screen from Verso Design adds a feeling of serenity and tranquility through the use of woven birch wood to your room.

This versatile Paikka room divider, designed by Joanna Laajisto, is made from three oil-waxed birch panels with a diagonal braid pattern.

Thanks to the hinges between the panels, the Paikka can be shaped and folded to fit different spaces. The portable room divider is perfect for a dressing area, office space or children's room, and its attractive appearance adds organic tranquility to spaces.

About the designer:

Joanna Laajisto (born 1977) is a Finnish interior designer - and former professional snowboarder! After graduating from the Interior Design Institute in Los Angeles, Laajisto worked at Gensler Architects for five years before returning to Finland. In 2018, Joanna Laajisto was voted Interior Designer of the Year by her colleagues from the Finnish Association of Interior Architects.

In 2010, Joanna Laajisto founded a design studio under the name Studio Joanna Laajisto in Helsinki, where she designs distinctive commercial interiors for shops, restaurants and workplaces, among others.
