Description

Vipp 632 Chimney 3-seater Sofa.

Inspired by Vipp 3rd guest house, Vipp Chimney House, the compact composition and airy expression of the Vipp Chimney sofa make it ideal for compact living spaces or lounge areas.

The whole thing stands modern and airy on a slender steel base, which makes the sofa seem to float in the room, and of course this base is finished with the well-known matt black powder-coated color that is reflected in the entire Vipp collection as a permanent house style. The chimney sofa is available in various fabric groups and colors.

The configurable elements of the Vipp sofa system allow for endless modularity. Choose up to 10 different units to compose the sofa of your preference, whether it is a classic two-seater or an extensive lounger.

Dimensions / Features:

3 seater sofa: H 70 x D 90 x L 240 cm. - seat height 40 cm. Fabric Bark Off White - light grey. Fabric composition: 30% viscose, 28% polycotton, 13% wool, 13% polyester, 10% cotton, 6% linen. Fabric abrasion resistance: Martindale 50,000.

Bark is our take on a bouclé textile that adds a tactile touch to Vipp sofas. "Bouclé," French for "loops," refers to the small curly loops in the yarn that give the fabric its distinctive character and softness when woven. Discreet yet full of details, the Bark upholstery offers uncompromising comfort. The viscose makes the fabric breathable, while also ensuring a soft and comfortable surface.

The Vipp 632 sofa is also available in other configurations, with open elements that allow the sofa to be assembled according to your own insight. If you also purchase the loose ottoman (ottoman), you can use it to slide on the sofa or as an additional seating element.

Care Instructions Upholstery:

We recommend caring for the upholstery of your Vipp furniture to ensure its long-lasting appeal and appearance. Please follow the guidelines below to preserve the upholstery’s natural beauty for many years.

Wool, cotton, and polyester

- Vacuum clean with low suction using a soft brush to preserve the fabric’s colour and appearance. Always brush in the direction of the pile and not against it.

- Avoid exposing the upholstery to direct sunlight, extreme heat, or sharp objects.

- Avoid pulling or cutting loose threads. Push them back into the fabric with a needle.

- Avoid using air fresheners as this can cause a chemical reaction on the fabric.

- Use a piece of white paper towel to dry wet spots. Tap gently on the spill to soak up the liquid rather than rubbing the area.

Stain removal

Use lukewarm water on a terry towel, optionally with a mild neutral cleaning agent added. Test on a less visible spot before applying a cleaning agent to the entire surface.

1. Use only small quantities of cleaning agent at a time and dry up with absorbent paper.

2. Avoid rubbing the fabric or the stain.

Note that denim can give off colour on a light fabric (beige, sand, white etc.). Apply a professional protector agent before use to prevent colour stains. Vipp is not accountable for claims caused by coloured fabric stains.

About Vipp:

The Vipp success story begins on a spring Sunday in 1931 when the 17-year-old Holger Nielsen wins a car in a lottery at the local football stadium. Holger loves cars, but has no driver's license, so he decides to sell the car and invest in a metal lathe. This marks the start of the Holger metal factory, where a few years later he makes a product that will become famous all over the world: the iconic Vipp pedal bin.

"A good design never goes out of fashion," said Holger. Time has proved him right; the Vipp trash has only marginally improved since it was born in 1939. Today, the trash can be recognized internationally as a design classic and in November 2009 it was even included in the architecture and design collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

Holger and his wife, Marie's youngest daughter, Jette Egelund, decide to take over the company. So far the trash can has only been sold to the professional market, but Jette is convinced that it can also be sold to design enthusiasts around the world. Jette visits the best furniture and design stores in Scandinavia. After much time and determination, The Conran Shop finally orders the pedal bucket for their London and Paris stores.

Today, Vipp is a third-generation family business. Jette is now assisted by her two children, Sofie and Kasper, who, together with a dedicated team of employees and with a growing range of products, continue to add to the special Vipp story.

The original waste bin is available in five sizes and is accompanied with new bathroom and kitchen products. The new products are manufactured using the same characteristic Vipp materials, steel and rubber, thereby improving Vipp's more than 70-year tradition for excellent craftsmanship and durability.

Fun fact: Each hand-assembled bin consists of up to 42 components. One craftsperson can create six bins per hour ensuring quality that lasts.
