The Vitra Eames contract table - high is based on the first version from 1968, and Vitra is now introducing it with new dimensions.

The Vitra Eames Contract Table has been re-released in a tall configuration, well suited to your modern kitchen or bar-style dining areas.

The high platform allows the use of stools or informal leaning, while the generous surface area makes the table an inviting space to serve food and drinks.

The dimensions are: Height: 110 cm x Diameter: 80 cm

Materials & finishes:
Stable pedestal base, four-star legs made of cast aluminum with a powder-coated finish in deep black. The table top is available in 2 versions: 25 mm light oak veneer or 12 mm solid HPL white laminate with a black edge.

About the designers:

American husband and wife design duo Charles and Ray Eames have had a profound influence on the visual character of American life, producing original work in the fields of architecture, furniture design, industrial design, manufacturing, and also photographic art.

The Eames first collaborated with Vitra in 1957 to produce some of the most iconic furniture pieces in the history of interior design. Today, Vitra still reflects their philosophy on design and functionality, which is best understood by Charles' own words: “Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design.”
