This coffee table called de Guéridon, was designed by the designer and engineer Jean Prouvé for the University of Paris in the late 1940s, the coffee table is an example of clear structural basic principles. It is a variation of Prouvé's architectural design series, and is made in a natural material, which shows that modern tables do not necessarily have to be made of steel and glass.

The coffee table is available in oiled oak, oiled smoked oak and American walnut wood. The connecting elements are made of curved sheet steel with a matte black coating.
