The Vitra Happy Bin, by Michel Charlot, is an indispensable office accessory that makes every workplace a bit happier!
Celebrated Swiss industrial designer Charlot gives his signature sense of lightness to the Vitra Happy Bin, which is available in two sizes and different colors. Now there is also a Happy Bin RE available, made from 100% recycled consumer plastic waste.
The new high-quality recycled material used to make Happy Bin RE comes from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' (Gelber Sack) household waste collection, from which used plastic packaging is sorted, cleaned, shredded and upcycled again into injection moldable polypropylene . Due to its composition, the recycled material is peppered with small specks of pigment. These subtle color variations match the slightly irregular shape of the waste bin perfectly: Swiss designer Michel Charlot was inspired by a sculpture by Hans Arp when creating Happy Bin RE, which adds an unusual organic design language to the typically austere office.
Material: 100% recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable.
Colors: grey RE, Sky Blue RE and Poppy Red RE.
Dimensions: Large Ø 30 / 37.5 cm.
