The Chipperfield w102 is made entirely of brushed, solid brass or black steel and is equipped with a rotatable dimmer on the lamp base. The hat-shaped lamp head has a small protruding tab that allows the light to be directed in the desired direction. It can also be turned sideways from the lamp base.

The Chipperfield w102 has an integrated LED light source with an impressive lifespan of 50,000 hours. The lamp head is rotatable and the light source emits a warm white light and fits just as well in the hall as on the work table.
