The Gubi Modern Line side table is a design by Greta M. Grossman from 1949,
with its simple shapes, this lightness and functionality combine into a modern, yet organic whole.
The slender metal legs are a playful silhouette, while the linoleum top with different color options is a striking detail that is characteristic of the designs of Grossman. The table is also versatile in use as a coffee table, side table in the hall / corridor or next to the bed.

About the designer:
Greta Grossman (1906-1999) has had a successful forty-year career in both Europe and North America. Her achievements were numerous and included industrial design, interior design and architecture. In 1933 she opened Studio, a combined store and workshop.
In the same year, Grossman married jazz musician, Billy Grossman, with whom she later emigrated to the United States and settled in Los Angeles. In the 40s and 50s, Grossman exhibited her designs in museums around the world, including MoMA in New York and the National Museum in Stockholm.
