The Savannah series from the Danish Fredericia represents a fusion of timeless structure, intense softness and a combination of materials.

The outer frame, which is made of solid wood, is wrapped in leather or canvas, while the inside is covered with a soft, comfortable fabric.

The Savannah series was designed by acclaimed Swedish designer Monica Förster as a modern interpretation of distinctive Scandinavian design principles.

Description:

Lounge chair with upholstered cushions. Solid wood exterior frame fitted with non-removable leather or 100% linen canvas upholstery. Cushions made of cold-hardened foam covered with fabric. The frame and back cover cannot be removed. The cover on the seat cushion is removable.

About the designer:

Born and raised in Sweden close to the Arctic Circle, Monica Förster has authored some of the most internationally celebrated objects in contemporary Swedish design. Her curiosity about materials and methods has led to her interdisciplinary approach, involving a mix of innovative and traditional craft techniques.
