The side table no. 2, designed by Swiss designers duo PlueerSmitt for Karakter, is characterized by a striking, fascinating design that challenges your perception of form and function – it is somehow familiar and at the same time something completely new!

The table consists of a heavy-looking seat in combination with simple tristels placed on top of each other, so that the table constantly changes appearance depending on the point of view you adopt.

About the designers:

PlueerSmitt was founded by Dominic Plueer and Olivier Smitt, who always strive to challenge everyday objects in their designs. The design duo often takes everyday objects as a starting point, for example giving a familiar object a new shape - they want allowing the user to experience a type of familiar product in a new way. Many of PlueerSmitt's designs are small-scale production, but the studio has also collaborated with design brands such as Karakter and Lyngby.
