The Slab table by British designer Tom Dixon is made of solid oak and is available in black matt stained, natural lacquered oak or smoked oak.
This table is characterized by a brushed surface, which results in a slightly structured top, making the oak beautifully visible and very light to the touch.

The design of this table has a slim appearance (the edges are rounded) and the placement of the table legs provides more than enough space for 4/6 people, despite the relatively normal dimensions of Ø120. The Ø90 has room for 4 people.

About the designer:

Tom Dixon (born 1959 in Tunisia) is a self-taught designer living and working in Great Britain. Dixon is best known for his lighting designs, in which he combines his welding skills and interest in innovative production techniques. Dixon's previous positions include head of design for Habitat and creative director for Artek, the Finnish furniture manufacturer founded by Alvar Aalto.
