The Maasto dining room armchair from Vaarnii stands out for its stripped-down, almost brutal appearance, in which Finnish pine plays the leading role - which is characteristic of Vaarnii furniture.
The minimalist chair consists of a pine veneer frame combined with a sturdy seat and backrest, both made of solid pine.
The shape of the Maasto armchair, a design by Ronan Bouroullec, may be simple, but the various wood grain patterns of pine give it a fascinating, varied look.
Each chair is sure to be unique, and over time, wear and aging, its charm will only increase as the Maasto develops a beautiful, natural patina.
