TORSO BAR CHAIR.

The Design House Stockholm Torso by Lisa Hilland is a stool that can be dressed just like a bare torso. The woven leather handrail is inspired by the traditional hunters' chair and Swedish traditional traditions. The stools in themselves are modest in their, but striking in detail with their woven leather details.

About the designer:

Lisa Hilland is an award-winning furniture designer. As a furniture designer, she has always wanted to create a piece of furniture that could combine her two interests: fashion and design. This has become the Torso collection.

After graduating from Central St Martin's College of Art, she worked in London for ten years before setting up her own studio in Sweden in 2005. Her creations combine a contemporary design with a poetic turn, combining modern high-tech production techniques with traditional craftsmanship.
